Ranjeet Ranade, the founder of ETC Partners, has been associated with global
IT firms such as Citicorp, Cambridge Technology Partners, Orbit-e Consulting, and
E5 Systems since 1992. He has played various roles such as programmer,
database administrator, team lead, project and program manager, and the head
of project management office. He holds an MBA in Finance & Economics from New
York University’s Stern School of Business Management and a masters from Indian
Institute of Technology, Mumbai in Electrical Engineering. Ranjeet has the
following competencies:
Software Engineering processes definition and implementation
Software effort and cost estimation techniques
Subject matter expertise in financial and energy trading
Program management
Management of Software Delivery Life Cycle and project management
In addition to the professional experience in the IT industry Ranjeet also has
a significant experience in teaching and training. He is currently a visiting
faculty at Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore (ISI), which is a premier
institute of India, devoted to the study of statistics and mathematical sciences.
His current teaching interests at ISI include the following:
Algorithms and data structures – comparative study of various search
algorithms and data structures such as BST, AVL trees, Linked lists etc.
Game theory – theory of cooperative and non-cooperative games and their applications
in economics, politics, business and other walks of life.
Linear programming – theory of simplex algorithm.
Theory of database management systems.
